i started blogging todays meditation realizations in the buddhism/ microsite and came back to linus so i'm here now lol

meditation is about relaxing, becoming effortless, compressing your actions and words into something more memorable? meaningful? idk hard to describe in the context of buddhism where the goal is to reach nothing basically...

but it's not about having information / options vs wisdom, knowing what to do with the information i guess is a simpler description, and by information i don't mean the crap in your mind, i mean the external objects we are usually not observing because our minds are distracting us with thoughts about the past & future vs now

we live in an information overload, the internet gave every tiny ego on earth a global sized bullhorn haha wow

we don't know what to do with the information, take computer programming, linus torvalds who did more with just the language c than millions of developers have done with the thousands of new languages

once again, how many languages do we need? most of them are trying to do the same thing differently, projects like rosetta code might compress languages into one, like a language api, like an orm does with databases

seriously how many different ways did we need to say "select * from blah where boo and foo order by gaga"

it will compress, from the vm to the docker to kubernetes, the pipelines, serverless!
